Greene County Fish and Game host Hunter education programs that are designed for every age and ability and are run by trained knowledgeable hunters. They’ll help you understand where and when it’s legal to go for the game you want, and how to enjoy a safe hunting experiance
All first time trappers are required to successfully complete a trapper education course through the Division of Wildlife before they can purchase a Fur Taker Permit. This required training course is available at GCF&G during the fall of each year.
